At Eco Acres Farm we take pride in the abundance of untouched Canadian Shield and natural surroundings that we call home. We offer a privately owned 220 acre parcel of land that is rich with a healthy ecosystem of medicinal plant life, edible forests and wild life for you to enjoy and explore. Stay in a private, remote cabin to truly take in the nature and retreat from the busy city. We have several different accommodations for you to choose from for you to best enjoy your stay with us. We also offer fresh vegetables in season from our organic and permaculture gardens.

Our History
Our family has owned this pristine 220 acres of land since the early 1980's. Purchased by our grandfather, Kazimierz Pawlik, who loved nature and solitude, saw infinite possibilities for the property, which at the time only had a small farmhouse and a few dilapidated barns built in the late 1800's. The vast forest was an unkempt oasis for many animals native to the Eastern Ontario wilderness.
Kazimierz saw a lot of potential for this land because of the abundance of natural resources on the property. A gushing natural spring which produces crystal clear water from a large confined aquifer consistently throughout the year creates enough water to irrigate a large garden and provide additional water for our many water projects. The rich and fertile soil is perfect for our organic vegetable gardens and the vast forest consists of coniferous and deciduous trees, some of which are over 100 years old.
Growing up spending summers on the property has given our family a greater respect for nature. Our passion for sustainable living and the outdoors has encouraged us to share this unique environment with others. Following in our grandfather's footsteps, we continue to develop the land in an eco-friendly manner to make it more accessible to explore.
Over the last 10 years we have cleared marked trails that pass through points of interest such as an old settlement site from the 1800's, an old growth Oak forest, and a natural spring-fed pond creating a rich eco-system filled with fish, a variety of turtles, frogs and river otters.
This property is a nature-lover's paradise with lots to explore and many animals to see. The relaxed atmosphere is sure to be a breath of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of modern city life.
